Flight Instruction

Our ultralight instruction takes place in the Marion County Airport.

Introductory flights available by appointment. Each lesson has a minimum of 45 minutes actual air-time with up to 15 minutes of ground instruction. The average individual will take approximately 8 lessons to qualify for solo flight.

Certified flight instructors, certified with the ASC, EAA or ASC will instruct you using a modern two seat ultralight. We teach in a step by step manner, at your pace with an emphasis on safety and fun.

Fly Hard Trike offers year round ultralight flight instruction by appointment, weather permitting. Start your trike flying career with safety and fun!

Learn from the best----with over 25 years of experience! Learn to fly a weight shift ultralight in our state of the art two-seat ultralight. Each student will complete the training at their own pace. The average student will take approximately 15 hours to prepare for solo flight.

We have limited availability so plan ahead for when you would like to start.

Beginning Ultralight Flight Experience

Initial first lessons include four hours of instruction. Expect 45 minutes of each hour to be flight time. Beginning package includes coverage in these areas: How it works, take-offs, straight flight, turns to a point, 90 degree turns, 180 degree turns and landings.

Beginning Ultralight flight Experience, First 4 lessons

All additional lessons after this package charged per hour.

Individual ultralight lessons by the hour: Includes at least 45 minutes airtime per hour.
